The CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent reports 10 new cases of COVID-19 in its report of November 29. We also deplore a new death on the territory. Over the past seven days, Bas-Saint-Laurent has recorded an increase of 101 new cases.
There are now 19 people living with COVID-19 who have lost their lives since the start of the pandemic in March. Now 628 people are considered to have been restored by the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent, out of a total of people with 802.
No hospitalization related to COVID-19 is currently underway. A case that had been recorded in the MRC of Rivière-du-Loup was reclassified in another region.

A new resident tested positive for COVID-19 at the Matane CHSLD and a patient lost his life. The total number of people with the virus now stands at 22, including 3 deaths and 7 workers affected.
The situation is stable at the Résidence des Bâtisseurs in Matane, the Résidence des Sages in Matane and the hospital in Rimouski.
Note that the Bas-Saint-Laurent Public Health Department launched a call for screening on November 29, intended for customers who have frequented the Normandin restaurant in Rimouski, between November 16 and November 18 inclusively.
